Symposium 2024 | Call for scientific posters

Institut nordique du Québec (INQ) invites members of the Quebec community of students working in northern and Arctic research to submit a proposal to participate in the scientific poster session of INQ's Annual Symposium to be held on May 7-8, 2024 at Musée de la civilisation, in Québec City. Proposals may cover any topic related to the North. We encourage submissions from all disciplines.

Evaluation criteria for proposal selection include scientific quality and clarity of the proposal. A committee will be responsible for evaluating all proposals received and will announce its selection during the week of April 14, 2024. Students whose proposals are selected will be responsible for producing and printing their scientific posters and bringing them to the event on May 7. Additional information will be communicated to those involved.

At the event, the authors of the posters will have the opportunity to discuss their work with the other participants and have a chance to win one of three prizes.

Please submit your scientific poster proposal by April 19, 2024 by completing the submission form.

The following information is requested on the form:

• Title of the poster;
• Name of the authors (at least one of the authors of the poster must be present to present the poster at the event);
• Short description of the poster (maximum 100 words). The organizing committee will use this text to evaluate the quality of your submission. If your proposal is accepted, this text will also be used in the promotion of your poster;
• INQ research axis(es) to which your poster is related.
