INQ's Annual Symposium

Institut nordique du Québec and its partners are pleased to invite you to INQ's Annual Symposium.

This year, join us for discussions on the theme of northern infrastructures. Whether they relate to transportation, energy sovereignty, access to healthcare, education, drinking water or food self-sufficiency, these infrastructures need to be resilient and developed while respecting local governance.

The aim of the event is to highlight the innovative initiatives being developed in the northern context to bridge the gap between the north and south of the province, and the need for adaptation in the face of ongoing environmental change.

The event program includes

  • The provincial finals of the "My Northern Project/Mon projet nordique" science popularization contest
  • A photo competition (call open)
  • Networking cocktail reception and scientific poster session (call open)

Valérie Borde, host of INQ's Annual Symposium

Valérie Borde, animatrice des Journées nordiquesValérie Borde, renowned science journalist and head of the "Bureau Science et santé" at L'actualité, will be in charge of hosting the event and moderating the panel discussions.

In addition to her career as a journalist, Valérie shares her expertise by teaching science journalism and giving lectures. She is also co-director of the Centre Déclic.
