Developed jointly by the Innu Nation and Boralex, Apuiat is the first national project launched by Innu communities and is an initial step towards a historic reconciliation with the Quebec government. It is also a significant economic lever for the Innu and the North Shore. The Apuiat Project will help meet Quebec's growing energy needs.
