24th annual CIÉRA conference

CIÉRA will hold its 24th annual conference at the University of Quebec in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, at the Pavillon des Premiers Peuples (Val-d'Or campus), on Thursday, May 28, and Friday, May 29, 2026.

The main objective of the conference is to take stock of initiatives aimed at documenting, promoting, and transmitting Indigenous territorial knowledge. The conference will include a networking event, a seminar on current research, and a cultural evening.
