Develop innovative silvicultural experiments to improve growth rates, yields, and carbon sequestration in managed forests.
Identify the processes involved in the establishment and rapid growth of planted trees.
Restore the productivity of degraded or unproductive sites using intensively managed plantations of exotic or native tree species.
