INQ at the Arctic Circle Assembly : The intersection of science popularisation and northern governance

Institut nordique du Québec (INQ) will once again be participating in one of the largest international gatherings dedicated to northern and Arctic regions: the Arctic Circle Assembly, to be held in Reykjavik, Iceland.

International final of My Northern Project

Since 2017, INQ and its partner, University of the Arctic (UArctic), have organised the international final of the My Northern Project science communication contest as part of this event. This friendly competition highlights the passion and talent of the next generation of students in northern research.

This year, students from Quebec will present their research alongside students from Finland, Denmark, Norway, and Iceland. Each participant will have five minutes to convince the jury and audience of their project's clarity and relevance. Two prizes will be awarded: the Jury Prize and the People's Choice Award.
