Portail nordique (UQAM Northern Portal )

The Portail nordique (Northern Portal) showcases the expertise of UQAM researchers in northern and Arctic research.
For decades, UQAM professors, researchers, and students have been conducting research on cold environments, high latitudes, and high altitudes, in Quebec and throughout the circumpolar region. These specialists come from 18 departments, contributing a diverse range of expertise from micropaleontology to cultural studies.
Researchers are particularly active in the field of Indigenous studies. This interest cuts across several departments and research fields, as demonstrated by the expertise presented on the portal.
The portal also provides information on scholarship, conference, and funding opportunities for research on the North and the Arctic. Its goal is to strengthen ties between researchers from different disciplines and to foster the development of multisectoral training activities.
