INQ Northern Days | A look back at the event

On June 5 and 6, INQ organized its annual knowledge transfer event, INQ's Northern Days, hosted this year by UQTR, one of its regular members. The event was attended by more than 100 people.

The theme of the event was "Imprints of a Green Economy in a Northern Context". What made this meeting unique was the diversity of the participants: keynote speakers, industry representatives involved in sustainable energy transition projects, members of Indigenous and northern communities at the heart of promising and transformative initiatives, researchers from various fields, provincial and federal government representatives, and numerous students.

The fruitful exchanges and innovative ideas that emerged over the two days strengthened our collective commitment to a sustainable future for northern regions.

The event was also a great opportunity for early career researchers to present their projects, either through oral presentations, as part of the Mon projet nordique / My Northern Project science popularization competition, or through scientific posters.

Thank you to all participants! We look forward to seeing you at next year's Northern Days.
