L'Institut nordique du Québec, le Swiss Polar Institute et l'Université Laval signent un protocole d'entente

On Thursday, April 13, 2023, Institut nordique du Québec (INQ), Swiss Polar Institute (SPI) and Université Laval signed a Memorandum of Understanding during an economic and scientific mission of the Swiss government to Canada.

This agreement will promote cooperation between the Swiss and Canadian scientific communities in the fields of polar and high-altitude research. It will facilitate the sharing of research infrastructure, exchange of personnel, data and other resources for the benefit of the signatories.

The agreement was signed by Sophie d'Amours, rector of Laval University, Christian Leumann, vice-president of the board of the SPI Foundation, Frédéric Herman, member of the SPI Foundation, and Jean-Éric Tremblay, director of the INQ.
