Our annual scientific event is fast approaching and the INQ team is excited to see you in person!

This activity, which will combine scientific presentations, round tables and networking, will take place on May 10th at the Musée de la civilisation in Quebec City. About fifteen speakers will take part in the day’s various discussions and conferences. The program is available on the event's website.

  • Round table | What is the future for caribou?
  • Conference | Wildlife, Environmental Change and Local Indigenous Food Systems in Eeyou Istchee and Nunavik
  • My Northern Project | Science popularization contest highlighting Quebec's emerging northern researchers
  • Networking Cocktail | Unveiling of the six Quebec finalists who will go to the international finals of the My Northern Project contest in Iceland

Acfas - Northern science at the Museum | the evening of May 10

Immediately following INQ's Northern Day, you can take part in conferences for the general public aimed at improving our understanding of the northern environment and featuring INQ researchers Pierre Ayotte, Marcel Babin and Normand Voyer as well as biologist and humorist Boucar Diouf.

Many seats for this informative and entertaining evening have been reserved for those registered for INQ's Northern Day.
