Joint RQM-CEGRIM-INQ call for projects 2021-2023

Réseau Québec Maritime (RQM),  the Government of Québec's Centre d'expertise en gestion des risques d'incidents maritimes (CEGRIM) and Institut nordique du Québec (INQ), are joining forces to launch a joint call for projects for INQ and RQM members to improve the preparedness of Nunavik communities in the event of a marine incident.

This call aims to address the challenge of integrated marine incident management in the vast territory of Northern Quebec and Nunavik. It calls on researchers from complementary disciplinary fields to come together to reflect on an innovative project partnership that will enhance the value of the research already conducted - or in the process of being conducted - in this region of the province.

More specifically, these projects will also have to address three important themes for the management of marine incidents in the Kuujjuaq region of Nunavik: coastal vulnerability, food security and local and indigenous knowledge.

The documents related to the call are available on the RQM website.

Application deadline: October 21, 2021
